FORT SCOTT, Kan. — On the parade ground of the old fort, 195 people from 55 different countries became newly-minted American citizens on Friday. According to Park Ranger Carl Brenner, the National Historic Site at Fort Scott has hosted an annual naturalization ceremony for more than 20 years. This year’s class is one of the biggest.
