GAS, Kan. — Multiple people were taken to the Iola Regional Medical Center for injuries sustained during a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Friday morning in Gas, Kansas, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. On Friday, Jan. 20 around 7:30 a.m. a 2006 GMC Sierra was traveling eastbound on US 54, when a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan, which was preparing to turn south on Taylor Street in the city of Gas, failed to yield to the Sierra and struck the driver's side of the vehicle, according to the KHP. The impact caused the Sierra to leave the highway and hit a house.
