Mulberry brothers win short film awards

PITTSBURG, Kan. — Two Mulberry brothers are flexing their muscles as filmmakers. Erik and Devan Stone, of Mulberry, took home two awards for their film, “Interlude,” from the Great Wonders Uplift Film Fest in Joplin last weekend. The 13-minute black-and-white film, which was a collaborative creation by the brothers, received Best Narrative Short and Best Original Music in a Short Film on the final day of the festival.
