PITTSBURG, Kan. — Leadership Kansas (LK) returns to Pittsburg this week with community leaders from across the state gathering to tour and discuss what makes Pittsburg and southeast Kansas unique. Started in 1979 under Gov. Robert Bennett, Leadership Kansas was established to identify a group of diverse and established leaders from across the state and develop a program to introduce the participants to the most important topics and issues in Kansas.
