ALLEN COUNTY, Kan. — The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) and the Allen County Sheriff’s Office are investigating after a man was found dead in the shop outside of his home in rural La Harpe, Kansas. The Allen County Sheriff’s Office requested KBI assistance on Wednesday, May 4, at approximately 6:50 a.m. KBI agents responded to the scene to investigate. The investigation indicates that Tuesday morning, May 3, at around 9:55 a.m., the Allen County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a subject who had located a deceased family member.
