CRAWFORD COUNTY, Kan. — Crawford County residents traveling through the northwest portion of the county need to find a new route by Tuesday. The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) has announced that the K-39 section between the east K-3 junction and the K-7 junction in southern Bourbon County will be closed starting May 6. The intersection at K-39 and K-7 is planned to be reconstructed during the closure, beginning Tuesday, remaining in effect through late June.
