PITTSBURG, Kan. — For what would have been his 20th birthday, a family is honoring a Pittsburg teen's legacy by raising money for the Josiah Fletcher Foundation for “Jam for Josiah 2024.” Josiah Fletcher, of rural Pittsburg, died in a crash in Cherokee County on the morning of March 2, 2023. A senior at Pittsburg High School at the time of the crash, Josiah played in the school’s marching band, pep band, orchestra band, and pit band for school musicals. Known for his love of music, Josiah had a special passion for playing in the jazz band.
