PITTSBURG, Kan. — Soon-to-be investment casting professionals from as far as Australia have spent the past eight days in Pittsburg, mainly on the campus of Pittsburg State University, participating in the 23rd annual Investment Casting Institute’s certification course. Known as the only industry certification program of its kind, the late springtime event is an eight-day course offering 30 industry professionals the opportunity to enhance their skills in investment casting techniques and process. “It’s a global course that is held annually here at Pittsburg State, and nowhere else,” said Quentin Holmes.
