GPL receives donation from volunteer group

GIRARD, Kan. — At its monthly meeting earlier this week, the Friends of the Girard Public Library presented a $525 donation to Girard Public Library Director Barb Bailey. Bailey said the funds will be used for the library’s summer reading program for special events like “Marty the Magician” and its “End of Summer” event.
