GIRARD, Kan. — The Girard Area Chamber of Commerce officially announced the candidates for its board of directors on Thursday with four community members battling for two positions. The board members can serve a three-year term with the potential to serve up to two consecutive terms. The way the voting works is that each chamber member or organization receives one ballot and one vote for the candidates.
