FRONTENAC, Kan. — During a special board meeting on Wednesday, July 27, the USD 249 Board of Education announced it is in the process of hiring one candidate for the combined position of high school assistant principal and athletic director, with the position expected to be filled and made official at the next meeting on Aug. 8. On July 11, the school board appointed the following district officers: The USD 249 attorney will be the Spigarelli Law Firm. Treasury officers will be Courtney McCartney, Mike Martin, and Brandy Stanley.
