PITTSBURG, Kan. — David Fornelli, mayor of Frontenac, Kansas, was arrested last week in Pittsburg for allegedly driving under the influence. At approximately 9:45 p.m. Wednesday night, April 27, law enforcement officers from the Pittsburg Police Department were dispatched to the area of 4th Street and the US 69 Highway Bypass in reference to a report of a driving complaint. The caller advised they were following a vehicle north on the bypass, which they reported as allegedly driving erratically.
