FRONTENAC, Kan. — Frontenac City Administrator John Zafuta gave the city’s financial report at Tuesday night’s city council meeting. According to Zafuta, the city’s finances are in good shape with $6.4 million surplus carried over from 2022. The city’s finances have been trending in this direction for several years, carrying over $570,000 in 2015 and increasing each year, with $5.4 million carried over in 2021.
