JOPLIN, Mo. – The Freeman Health System Board of Directors announced this week that Matthew Fry had been chosen as Freeman’s new president and chief executive officer, succeeding Paula Baker who has served in that role for the past 13 years. Fry is currently president and CEO of the Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.
