MINDENMINES, Mo. — A Fort Scott man, 58-year-old Walter M. Martinez, suffered moderate injuries in a single-vehicle crash about five miles east of Mindenmines, Missouri, on Wednesday morning, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Martinez was traveling westbound on highway U.S. 160 at about 8:20 a.m. Wednesday when he lost control of the 1997 Ford Ranger he was driving, which overturned, and he was ejected from the vehicle, according to the MSHP.
