PITTSBURG, Kan. — The Kelce College of Business at Pittsburg State University has released its economic report for the first quarter of 2022. According to Dr. Michael Davidsson, the data in the report suggests that Pittsburg’s economy continues to do well, and is still growing, despite the COVID-19 recession. The report points to local banks as a sign of economic recovery with a “138 percent increase in deposits” between 2015 and 2021, growing from $400 million to $970 million.
