‘First Family of Pickleball’ returns to their hometown

PITTSBURG, Kan. — Pittsburg natives turned pro-pickleball players Julie, JW and Jorjia Johnson, along with their coach Jack Johnson, are coming back to their hometown Monday, Aug. 28 for Pickle in Pitt – The Johnson Family Pro Pickleball Day. The community is invited to come meet the “First Family of Pickleball” and some of the top-ranked pickleball players in the world. Pickle in Pitt is a celebration recognizing the Johnsons for their achievements in the pro-pickleball arena, and a fundraising event to raise support for enhancements to the Jack Johnson Courts, and new pickleball programs at the Four Oaks Sports Complex in Lincoln Park.
