PITTSBURG, Kan. — Each year, thousands of officer cadets from around the country gather at Fort Knox for their last Cadet Summer Training between their junior and senior year. This year, 6,132 cadets from 287 ROTC programs from every college and university in the nation with the exception of West Point attended the cycle, each being tested and evaluated on their knowledge and expertise of the U.S. Army — not an easy task to begin with. Brady Stanley, a Frontenac High School grad and Pittsburg native, not only completed the training regimen, but finished with the fourth highest score of all cadets nationwide.
