PITTSBURG, Kan. — Nearly 40 Jeeps parked near the Gus statue at Gorilla Village on Saturday to raise money for Special Olympics Kansas (SOKS). According to Erin Fletcher of SOKS, the event raised approximately $2,000. The money is used to provide medals for athletes and to rent various facilities for the athletes to compete.
