PITTSBURG, Kan. — Returning for its fourth year, the Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF) held “Together Kansas” Thursday morning at Memorial Auditorium in an event that featured 40 resources and employers. The purpose of the event was to provide attendees with an experience that connects them with various community partners, resources, and employers, ultimately bringing communities together. “We have a community resource and job fair with 40 different resources and employers across the Crawford County area,” said DCF Deputy Director of Whole Family Services Heidi Widmer.
