GIRARD, Kan. — April Swartz of Varney and Associates in Manhattan delivered the annual report concerning the 2024 county budget. All-in-all, the county received good marks with no “red flags” detected. Of all the counties Swartz consults, she said Crawford’s is the largest report because the county maintains several funds recording financial activity.
