GIRARD, Kan. — During Tuesday’s county commission meeting, Lisa Lusker, Crawford County clerk, spoke briefly about early voting and party affiliation when voting. Any voter not already registered with a recognized political party, such as Democrat, Republican, or Libertarian, is considered unaffiliated. Voters who remain unaffiliated on Election Day cannot vote in party primaries, but can still vote on the Value Them Both constitutional amendment proposal that will be on the Aug. 2 ballot.
