PITTSBURG, Kan. —August is National Children’s Eye Health and Safety Month and Walmart is encouraging Joplin-area parents to prioritize their children’s vision by stopping by their local Walmart Vision Center this back-to-school season. Walmart Vision Centers are a one-stop eye care shop for everything from prescription glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses to routine eye and contact lens exams. National Children’s Eye Health and Safety Month aims to educate the population on the importance of protecting children’s vision and eye health.
