PITTSBURG, Kan. — Most would agree that there’s no place like home, and thanks to a recent grant from the Knights of Columbus Endowment Fund, Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas (CHCSEK) is helping the elderly continue to live independently. The grant, made possible through the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas (CFSEK), supports aging in place by providing resources to support the aging population’s continued independence and ongoing safety in their homes. This issue was repeatedly identified — along with transportation — as a major need for elderly people in Crawford County.
