PITTSBURG, Kan. — Following an opening invocation, the public input period of Tuesday’s Pittsburg City Commission meeting began with a statement from Tom Hayes, general counsel and chief strategy officer for CDL Electric, about the progress of a laydown yard for company equipment that sparked a bit of friction between CDL President and CEO Larry Seward and City Commissioner Chuck Munsell this past fall. According to Hayes, CDL has taken steps to address citizen concerns. Armed with current photos and a future concept, the lot has been enclosed with fencing.
