PITTSBURG, Kan. — Last week, the Pittsburg Police Department and Crawford County Sheriff’s Office experienced a slight decline in calls for service. From July 20 to 26, the sheriff’s office responded to 237 calls for service, a 27 percent decrease from the previous week. The office also conducted 103 traffic stops, made 19 arrests, assisted 12 motorists or community members, and took 26 reports.
