PITTSBURG, Kan. — A considerable amount of construction is slated to take place along north Broadway, next week. Contractors will begin milling and overlay starting at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30.

The work will be on Broadway Street from the North city limits to Atkinson Street, and US Hwy 69 between 20th Street and 4th Street (Hwy 126). It is projected to be completed in one week, depending on the weather.

The City of Pittsburg is encouraging motorists to seek alternate routes, when possible, to use extreme caution when traveling in construction and be aware of workers in the work zone.
