MANHATTAN, Kan. — Boys State of Kansas, a government and leadership program sponsored by the American Legion, is now accepting applications for its 2026 session. Scheduled to take place Sunday, May 31, through Saturday, June 6, at Kansas State University, the program enters its 34th consecutive session in Wildcat Territory and 88th overall. Spanning nearly nine decades, Kansas originally became the fifth state to adopt the program.
