ARMA, Kan. — Arma Fire Department/Crawford County Fire District #2 Fire Chief Mike McLeod visited with the Arma City Council Monday evening, providing updates on the department’s busy schedule through the year’s first four months. “We’ve already had 264 calls this year, and I’d probably say 85 percent of them are in the city,” said McLeod. “The number of calls this year is pretty much unheard of for a volunteer fire department.
