ARMA, Kan. — The Arma City Council closed its investigation at Tuesday’s regular meeting after following up on a complaint made by a town resident. Two weeks ago, Laura Lundberg approached the city council regarding an alleged incident at the Arma City Hall on Aug. 5 with Arma Police Chief John Austin, which she described as an “unsettling display of unprofessionalism and intimidation.” Mayor Rob Lessen addressed the issue during this week's meeting, stating that after investigating the complaint, he had concluded that no action is warranted. “After reviewing the information, the video, and watching the video, of course, I don’t think that we need to do anything further,” he said.
