PITTSBURG, Kan. — Last week, Pittsburg Police Department and Crawford County Sheriff’s Office experienced a decrease in overall activities compared to the previous week. From Dec. 14 to 20, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office responded to 272 calls for service, conducted 135 traffic stops, arrested nine people, assisted 11 motorists and community members and took 27 reports. Overall activities were 27 percent less than the previous week.
