Opie's Pizza in Girard decorated its float with the theme of “A Storybook Christmas” during Thursday’s annual Christmas parade in the downtown area. Amongst the designed floats, the Girard High School band took the prize for the best school, while Mike Carr won the community award and Girard Medical Center claimed the commercial award.
