100 Years Ago Jan. 11, 1923 A special dispensation, effective immediately, was granted the suspended miners of District 14, Mine Workers, by action of the district board in executive session yesterday. The dispensation suspends the payment of the $15 fine imposed against miners who worked during the strike. The dispensation to the suspended miners was granted by the district board as a first step to restore harmony in the district.
