Excerpted stories in Crawford County newspaper archives 100 Years Ago June 13, 1923 Pittsburg’s summer concerts by the municipal band will open tomorrow night in Lincoln Park, if the weather can be “fair and warmer” until then, it was announced today. Preparation has been made by the band, under the direction of J. J. Richards, conductor. The band this year has an instrumentation of 30 pieces.
