Excerpted stories in Crawford County newspaper archives 100 Years Ago Feb. 15, 1924 The trophy silver cups for county contests have arrived and are on exhibition in the office of the secretary of the Crawford County High School League. The contests in which they figure are the county declamatory contest, held last night in Girard; basketball tournament to be held March 7-8; musical contest on April 4; and track and field meet May 2. The handsome trophies are worth the battle for possession.
