Excerpted stories in Crawford County newspaper archives 100 Years Ago Feb. 28, 1924 Students from 24 states, Canada and China composed the enrollment of Kansas State Teachers College, which has reached 4,814 and will be 5,000 for the first time by the close of the semester, according to tabulation by J. F. Mitchell, registrar. Last year the total enrollment, including the spring term, was 4,533. The increase at present is 281 over this and approximately 200 more will enroll over the spring term, it is believed.
