Excerpted stories in Crawford County newspaper archives 100 Years Ago April 20-22, 1924 An auspicious opening for the 10th annual music festival of the Teachers College was last night as almost 1,700 persons witnessed “The Cycle of the Hours" by the women’s physical education department. Hearty ovations following each number gave concrete evidence that the dance drama "went over" in every sense of the word. Close to 200 performers, including college training school children, took part in the spectacle.
