100 Years Ago Feb. 3, 1923 Miss Emma Dodson won first place as representative of the Crawford county high school of Cherokee in the Crawford county declamation contest held at the community hall in Frontenac last night. Honors for second place went to Miss Hazel Morgan, representing the Arma school and third place to Miss Maurine Babb, representing Girard. A large loving cup was awarded to the Cherokee school for first place.
