The summer movie season will soon be coming to a close, but boy oh boy, is it going out with a bang. The box office for summer 2026 has been on fire since May. Last weekend, with the two punches of "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" and "The Odyssey" the box office had the biggest weekend of all-time. (As Pittsburg currently has no movie theater, which is hopefully corrected in the near future, that was definitely money left on the table by the company who left town.)
