Excerpted stories in Crawford County newspaper archives 100 Years Ago Aug. 24-26, 1924 September has been designated the campaign month to obtain an additional $50,000 toward erection of the first unit of the American Protestant hospital at 17th and Broadway, it was announced yesterday by Rev. E. H. Given, president of the hospital association. Plans are being made for laying the cornerstone for the structure on the opening day of the intensive campaign, Sept. 9 to 13.
