Eighty-three GHS graduates attended the Senior Awards Assembly Friday, May 12, at 8 a.m. in John E. Shireman Auditorium. During the assembly, students were recognized for awards and accepted scholarships. Scholarships presented by local businesses included Kim Harris, Harris L.P. and Hepler Ruritan Club; Tucker Johnson and Bailey Cares, GNBank; Dean Davied, Exchange State Bank; Tony Stonerock, Community National Bank (CNB) PSU Scholarship and CNB Student of the Year; Judd Schossow and Lori Johnson, Crawford County Farm Bureau and Max Brown Memorial Scholarship; Ruth Duling, Girard Medical Center (GMC), GMC Foundation, Smiles from Jamie, John E. and Marilyn Shireman Memorial Scholarship, Chapter BG PEO, Lions Club Ivan Breneman Memorial and Lions Club Ken Pokos Memorial; Kelsey Vinze and B.
