RIVERTON, Kan. — The Girard Trojans took their first loss in CNC League play against Riverton and then rebounded for the split by defeating Columbus on Tuesday at the Riverton Multipurpose Activity Center. Riverton remained unbeaten in league play by defeating Girard 2-0 (25-13, 31-29). Girard swept Columbus (25-15, 25-13), but the victory came with a cost when senior Erika Boatman left with an ankle injury at 12-3 in the first set.
