Four county XC runners medal at Rim Rock

Girard sophomore Fletcher Ulbrich and St. Mary’s Colgan junior Colton Smithhisler medaled on the boys side and Colgan freshman Mari Gilmore and Frontenac freshman Emerson Albright medaled on the girls Saturday in the Rim Rock Farm High School Cross Country Classic in Lawrence. St. Mary's Colgan, Frontenac and Girard competed Saturday in the Rim Rock Farm High School Cross Country Classic in Lawrence, running in the division for smaller schools. On the girls side, Colgan finished 11th in the team standings with 451 points, Frontenac 24th with 555 and Girard 39th with 877. Hesston won the team title with 127 points and the Swathers were followed by Wamego at 153.
