Quinton Cox’s basket just before the buzzer boosted Galena past upset-minded Frontenac 49-48 Tuesday night in the Bulldogs’ gymnasium. The Bulldogs (16-0) led 47-46 in the final minute when Raiders guard Vinny Collier drove down the middle of the lane for a layup and a one-point lead with 21 seconds remaining. Galena guard Jack Perry started from midcourt and drove to the basket, but his shot was blocked out of bounds by Jake Wegner with 3.9 seconds left.
