The Pittsburg City Commission this week heard an update on Imagine Pittsburg 3.0, the latest iteration of the long-term plan formerly known as Imagine Pittsburg 2030, or simply Imagine Pittsburg. While this was certainly not the first time the commissioners have been briefed on the plan, those who aren’t so closely involved with the city government or organizations like the Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce may have heard less about it. The plan focuses on several areas, including housing, economic development, infrastructure, public wellness, education and marketing.
