Richard W. Coonrod, 87, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away September 25, 2023, after a battle with dementia. He is survived by three children, Keith Coonrod (Kathy) of McCune, KS, Dale Coonrod (Dara) St. Paul, KS, Michele Verren (Jaime) of Pittsburg; four grandchildren, Wes Coonrod (Honey) of Parsons, KS, Clint Parsons (Ashley) of Pittsburg, KS, Tiffany Darling (Chris) of St. Paul, KS and Tracy Rhodes (Ryan) of St. Paul, KS; several great-grandchildren and one sister, Marilyn Coonrod Flagg (Larry) of Ft. Scott, KS. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Wes and Vera Hale Coonrod and his loving wife, Virginia M. Morris Coonrod.
