Randy Lee Rakestraw, Sr., 60, of Pittsburg, died at 4:38 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2022, at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, following an illness. Randy was born Feb. 17, 1962, in Port Hueneme, California, the son of Carl Lee and Mary Louise (Mitchell) Rakestraw. He graduated from Cherokee High School and later joined the United States Army.
