Joan Catanzaro Rhodes made the transition to the realm of Spirit on Thursday September 4, 2025, at the age of 97. She was born in Pittsburg, Kansas on Oct. 19, 1927, and graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1945. Joan (pronounced Jo-Ann) was the youngest of eight children; five boys and three girls born to Giovanni (John) and Constance Catanzaro of Pittsburg, who emigrated from Italy to the United States in the very early 20th Century.
