Meadowlark Elementary K-Kids dedicated a Buddy Bench on Wednesday. The bench is a result of a former Meadowlark student, Piper Bicknell, now a seventh grader at PCMS, who wrote a grant for the bench, and together with donations from supporters and the Sunflower Kiwanis, the bench became a reality. The purpose of the bench is for a student to signal to classmates that they are feeling lonely or are looking for someone to play with, encouraging other students to include them in their activities.
