PITTSBURG, Kan. — Pittsburg State University interior design students had the opportunity to learn a different avenue toward achieving their career goals from local designers and owners of the White Elephant Emporium Stephanie Beitzinger Watts and Danielle Beitzinger on Monday evening. According to Denise Bertoncino, PSU interior design professor and program coordinator, the program’s students are required to attend a certain number of professional presentations throughout the year. Bertoncino said she asked Beitzinger and Watts to give a presentation since they are both PSU graduates and they were able to provide an example of a different type of design career as well as a unique talent for the students to observe.
